pyrfu.pyrf.medfilt.medfilt(inp: DataArray, kernel_size: int | None = None) DataArray[source]#

Applies a median filter over npts points to inp.

Parameters:
  • inp (DataArray) – Time series of the input variable.

  • kernel_size (int, Optional) – Number of points of median filter. Default is a 3-point median filter.

Returns:

Time series of the median filtered input variable.

Return type:

DataArray
